BitSec Global Forensics, the worldwide leader in computer forensics and information security training, has been honored by the US State Department’s Diplomatic Security Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA) Program.

Based in New England with offices in Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine, BitSec Global recently trained representatives of the Colombian Government through the US State Department’s Office of Anti Terrorism Assistance (ATA). ATA trains civilian security and law enforcement personnel from friendly governments in security procedures that deal with terrorism.

BitSec Global’s CEO Michael Webber and Gary Kessler, BitSec’s Director of Training instructed the Colombian investigators in methods to analyze cyber terrorism trends and effectively manage cyber investigations inside Colombia and beyond. Webber and Kessler were honored for their work in a special ceremony sponsored by the US State Department’s Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program.

BitSec Global’s recent ATA Program training of the Colombian Government’s cyber investigative unit underscores our continued commitment to the US State Department’s war on cyber terrorism,” said Michael Webber. “BitSec Global Forensics work will benefit that effort beyond the borders of Colombia.”

Since its inception, BitSec Global Forensics has trained investigators in 25 countries on five continents. Through ATA, BitSec Global Forensics has trained law enforcement units from several countries including Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, Trinidad, Turkey, Jordan, Bahrain, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India.
