Our consultants have decades of global experience handling all types of incidents for both corporate and government clients of all sizes. We offer several different solutions based on your unique needs.

Per-Incident Solution
After a simple phone call, BitSec Forensics will respond to help mitigate any security incident. This solution is designed for clients to whom we have no previous agreement who simply wishes to engage our consultants to assist with a current security incident or investigation. We will make every effort to respond as soon as possible; however, without a prior agreement to guarantee availability, response times may vary.

Pre-Purchased Services

This option allows clients to pre-purchase a set number of consulting hours that can be used in the future for any event that may occur. This solution is often used by clients that have no in-house security personnel capable of handling various types of security incidents and/or clients that have limited in-house resources and wish to augment their in-house capability by drawing on our expertise. This option allows the flexibility to have an agreement in place and a discounted hourly rate.

For example, a client may choose to pre-purchase fifty consulting hours to be used, as they deemed necessary. Any remaining consulting hours that have not been utilized by the end of the year can be applied toward a training event in which our training staff will visit the client’s facility and work side-by-side with their in-house staff to help them become more self-sufficient.

Complete Managed Solution

This solution is designed to offer the fastest possible response time and best capability. This solution typically involves installing a forensic workstation at the client’s site and establishing the capability for a remote connection via VPN or any other security solution so that our consultants can quickly access the network and instantly begin to mitigate the incident.

Typically, clients take advantage of this solution when they anticipate frequent use of our services. A common scenario would be an organization that has a recurrent need to collect desktop images, email accounts, documents, etc. as part of an electronic discovery process or human resources investigation, or would like the instant availability of our consultants to rapidly respond to a security incident. This option also allows for greater flexibility when the customer manages a diverse network with multiple physical locations.

Advance Preparation

BitSec Forensics, Inc. strives to offer the best services possible. To that end, regardless of which of the above solutions an organization many wish to utilize, we feel that preparation, in advance of an event, is critical. The better prepared an organization is, the better they will respond and be able to mitigate the incident. Accordingly, BitSec Forensics will request a meeting with security and/or information technology staff at the earliest possible opportunity in order to discuss methods that can be used and to better understand the organization’s network infrastructure. This information (under a non disclosure agreement) will better help us recognize the current environment and ensure we are prepared to respond to the clients needs.
